I have a very poor background, born in Mid-Western Uganda. I grew up as an orphan after my mother died while delivering me in a small village (Kisita) without any medical assistance yet my father had died 4 month earlier when his small fishing boat capsized. My old grandmother took care of me but it was very difficult for her. Getting educated was hard but made it to the University for a social work course and now Masters degree in social sector planning and management. What pains me most, is my grandmother died when i was in final year at the University. She should have lived and I would have cared for her. This experience made me have a passion for poor orphaned children and youth. I work as Chief Executive Officer for HOPE Net, an educating partner organization of Nnina Olugero Foundation in implementing projects that benefits most at risk young people in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights. My hope is to make our organization succeed in making our beneficiaries a happy future generation.
