I am a laboratory technologist currently working with Nnina Olugero foundation as Healthcare project coordinator. I am very interested in research work aimed at diagnosis of tropical diseases. I have worked with the Uganda Virus Research Institute as a researcher on rapid testing and counselling on HIV/AIDS as well as frontier medical centre as a laboratory in charge. However, I am pursuing a bachelors in 'Medical Laboratory Science'. I am privileged to work with Anouk Peters (director) because she is very hardworking and friendly. I am very motivated to work for the Healthcare project to educate and prevent a lot of pain and suffering. Due to a lack of funds this project will probably start beginning 2016, but I have already started researching to make sure I am ready. I have high hopes for this project.
